I got my letter! I was happy when I saw the NTU letter. I ran up to my room and quickly put down my bag.
Within that split second, “Oh wait, how come the letter is so thin?” Then, I opened it reluctantly.
Yup, NTU has rejected my application.
I really waited long for this, and [...]
I’m really looking into my mailbox everyday, in the hopes of getting the letter.
I know it’s needless to do so, but at least I can keep my brain from being bothered by those unnecessary thoughts.
Just when I was getting all down and grumpy, I saw an email from the NIS admin.
I didn’t expect to see such a big group taking the test. You can see all the potential scholars scattered around the reception area.
One look at them, and what’s my chances? Kind of surprise by the number of females there, it’s definitely a good thing!
I was told to grab any seat in the auditorium. I sat along the first row. Beside me there are the few seats labeled with number tags. I avoided them, who know what those means?
